Char Grilled Oysters, Oysters Rockefeller and Bienville. We sat at the bar and watched the gentleman shuck them right there. All came out bubbling with cheese and so fresh. My husband says he will never go back to raw! What isn't good with Gruyère?!!! Lots of local beers and full bar. They have a whole menu but we just stopped in to sample some oysters after a parade. Met other tourists from Russia at the bar who were also truly loving the Oyster fest (with vodka). Great service. Mid afternoon wasn't too crowded. Clean and upscale casual atmosphere. Just some folks enjoying the gifts of the sea.

Wonderful hotel restaurant with fantastic food. The crawfish pie and blue crab bisque were extremely good. Great Louisiana comfort food. Would definitely come back if I lived here! Service was impeccable. The restaurant is part of a hotel and a little on the small side. But the food was just phenomenal. Highly recommend!

Trenasse is close by to our hotel so we wanted to be sure to check it out & see what they have. Their restaurant selection is Louisiana based with plenty of seafood options (oyster bar, main dishes) and were told they have happy hour from 3-6. We decided to stop in for a quick drink (beer and the blackberry bramble). The ambiance is classy and warm with outdoor seating and an inside entrance to the Intercontinental Hotel.

Bottomless mimosas! Great food! And a fun atmosphere! Our server was super attentive, never an empty glass and she seemed genuinely happy. Ordered the vegetable omelet and the shrimp and crab grilled oysters. Honestly wish I had stomach space to eat more because everything was just really really good. Will absolutely come back with friends

Came just for happy hour oysters. They have a pretty decent deal - half dozen for $7. Some of the best oysters I've had. They were huge! We also got complimentary fried pork skins which were soo crunchy and savory. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, the food came out quick, and there was no wait. Restaurant is classy and clean!

We really enjoyed Trenasse in the intercontinental hotel. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays and has the whimsical corgi paintings displayed We enjoyed the intercontinental grilled oysters tremendously. A friend and I split the Trenasse Trio which included the crawfish pie, which was extra extraordinary; shrimp, and grits, which were delicious, and fish menuire, which is incrusted and delicious. Service was attentive and courteous . A spectacular meal !

We came here for a birthday celebration and had a big party. The room they put us in was isolated, which wasn't bad, but it felt a little awkward in location. Our server was sweet and took care of us well so no complaints there. We wanted to come here mostly for the oyster selection they had. Started out with a dozen raw oysters. We loved them so much, we ordered another dozen at the end of the dinner. We ordered the oyster log for the table and while it was pricey, it was a great way to try all their charbroiled oysters. The garlic butter, gratin, and crab Bienville were my favorites but you can't go wrong with any of them. The oyster log also comes with fried oysters, which was a let down for me. They were cold and didn't have much of a taste. The scallops were tasty and I loved the desserts we had with the bread pudding and pistachio cake. The entrees were nice but not as exciting as the oysters for me. I'd come back for those oysters by itself!

Service was quick and friendly even with our large group of 18. I really enjoyed the wedge salad and their version of a house salad. My catfish and grits were just meh! I would come check them out again with maybe less people for some other menu options.
